Are you looking for a women's advice centre?

FIM Frauenrecht ist Menschenrecht e. V. is an intercultural counselling centre for migrant women and their families. In difficult life situations, women can get advice and support - for example in cases of violence, insecure residence status, human trafficking, if they are refugees or in prostitution.
You can get confidential advice free of charge in more than 15 languages.

The Beratungsstelle Frauennotruf (Women's Emergency Hotline) counsels girls and women who have experienced sexualised, physical or online violence. The counselling centre can also help if you are threatened by violence. Or if you need support in a crisis after you have experienced violence.
Counselling is free of charge and is provided anonymously upon request. Interpreting can be organised if you do not speak the same language as the counsellor.

Girls and women, especially those with a Muslim background, can contact RAHMA e. V. The "RAHMA ­– Muslim Centre for Girls, Women and Family" counsels in conflicts, distress and crises in Arabic, Bosnian, German, Turkish and other languages.

Are you pregnant and have problems with or questions about your pregnancy? There are several advice centres that can give you help. Netzwerk Frühe Hilfen Frankfurt am Main (support for families and children from the start of pregnancy up to the age of 3) provides an overview:

Is there a crisis in your family?

Competent professionals provide advice and support if you are going through a crisis or are experiencing conflicts in your family, with your children or with people close to you.

The Kinder- und Jugendschutz (child and youth protection) team at the Jugend- und Sozialamt (Youth and Social Welfare Office) of the City of Frankfurt am Main advises children, young people, parents and professionals in institutions and all citizens. The team provides help:

  • On the protection of children
  • When parents are ill or overwhelmed
  • In acute emergency situations
  • Whenever there is suspicion that a child's well-being is at risk (for example, if you suspect that a child is being beaten)
  • Violence in families with children
